The recipe contest runs from October 1, 2007 through midnight of December 15, 2007.

Entries should be submitted online.  Read official rules for more details. Enter your unique Divine Chocolate Recipe, a description of why you are hungry to change the world for cocoa farmers and a picture of your prepared Divine creation.

Recipes will be judged across all categories—desserts, beverages, confections, appetizers etc.  Judges will be looking for creativity, Divine appeal and reviewing statements from contestants. 

Prizes will be awarded for First, Second, and Third Prize.

The First Prize Winner will receive a roundtrip ticket to Washington, DC and accommodations at Akwaaba Bed and Breakfast in DC to attend the awards ceremony and media event on or about February 5, 2008, a gift certificate to The Baker’s Catalogue and a Fair Trade basket of Divine Chocolate.

The second prize winner will receive a gift certificate from The Baker’s Catalogue and a Fair Trade basket of Divine Chocolate.

The third place winner will receive a basket of Divine Chocolate valued at $100. Winners will be notified by email no later than January 14, 2008 and the public announcement will be made at the awards ceremony in February 2008.
